December is a great time of the year for me. Lot’s of holidays, celebrations, friends and family. Usually this also means lots of food! This large amount of food usually leads to being a main reason for the trusty New Years Resolutions.
My challenge for this month is to keep a log of everything you eat. For 30 days, whenever something goes in your month, write it down. No matter what it is, just write it down. If you forget for a day or two, just look back and see what you can remember and write that down.
The point here isn’t to judge what you eat. The point is to simply see what’s really going on. For most of my clients, when they start food logs, the biggest thing they notice is the habits they have around eating. Maybe it’s a lot of a certain thing or just similar things every day. From your own logs see what you start to notice. As always, please feel free to check in with me regularly for some added accountability.
